The Federal Reserve Bank bailed out Bear Stearns because the international banking system could not afford to see them fail. What does this say about where the world monetary system is today? The Federal Reserve and the issuing of Credit has robbed the US citizens of all their wealth and created a international ruling class. This class continues to rob the world’s people of their resources. Only by returning to real money can this be stopped.

I wrote a post a few months ago about gold prices reaching $900 per ounce, and it was the most viewed of all my posts. Who says that people aren’t gold bugs? The constant stream of bad news from wall street about failing banks is feeding this fire. Now it’s Bear Stearns that’s getting bailed out by JP Morgan Chase. I guess if you thinking about buying gold now your wondering if this is just speculation or panic. Well my guess is that it is, but another thing you should think about is whether the US dollar is going to continue it’s slide. Well now that your grandma is melting down her gold jewelry you can bet that supplies will be going up lowering prices. So what do you do? Well selling your gold jewelry may be one way of taking advantage of these prices.
Today, I talked to a guy who sells gold and silver in his retail shop. He explained that he refrains from giving advice to people because he says that it is too unpredictable. He elaborated on his thoughts and told me a story about a time when he advised a woman not to buy because prices seemed high, only to see it go even higher. He advised that I use a charting method to predicting the price.
I’m not certain how you go about charting the price of gold by hand. Maybe this isn’t such bad advice and I encourage you all to try it. Who knows you may learn something from this exercise. Maybe you can predict the future from a chart? If you see the price going down then you sit on the sidelines for now unless your willing to risk playing the short selling market. I bought silver coins back in 2002 and the price was $7.50 an ounce and now it is $20 and the coin has a value as well. The retail price is now $24 for those coins. I’m thinking I should sell now but I don’t know if it is going to keep going up. I can’t get full retail for them. Today I could get about $20 for each ounce coin. Well now that I have these valuable coins I’m thinking I might try trading them away to friends for things that I want. After all they are considered legal tender!
The argument that all the candidates running for president should play party politics and broker a deal to unite behind their party is bad for America. This election is too important to play party politics. We have a war going on, civil liberties are under siege, the economy is in the toilet, Russians are fighting a dictatorship, and Islam is fighting like hell to escape corporate globalization. This election is far too important to abandon and allow the status quo to continue. I encourage everyone to fight like hell because it isn’t just America that under siege it is the entire world. Everyone needs to fight for a seat at the table and nobody should be persuaded that giving up that fight.
To suggest that this fight for the soul of America needs to be some how brokered is dumb. The democrats are worried that their two-way battle for the nomination will make them less viable because they are spending too much money fighting each-other, makes party sense but makes no sense to someone like me who doesn’t like the party politics that got us stuck in this mess. The republican parties’ rush to judgment in anointing McCain and subverting their own election process with the help of the mainstream media also can not be allowed to continue either. So to suggest that voters should simply tow the party line and accept the “” fair election process in this country is lunacy.
Everyone is making their cases for why this country is going down and how they propose to fix this mess. I’m not giving up this fight and nor should you. So I would say to those people asking/ begging for party reconciliation to simply cool your jets. If you can’t handle the heat get out of the kitchen. When the kitchen is on fire I’m calling the fire department, not the police. So your either in of the fire department or your not. Which department are you in???
McCain doesn’t have a lock on the nomination as the media would like you to believe. The convention is still several months away and Ron Paul is gaining momentum by the day.
